    Wednesday:

Took a POS day cab and a heavy set all the way to Charleston, WV and pulled another one back. Took FOREVER to get there...Why? because FedEX and UPS decided to race each other to see who's pecker was bigger and the only thing they proved was that they are both ##### Idiots! FedEX ended up wrecking his Western Star in the Median, Jacknifeing his set destroying the pups, and UPS ended up sitting on the shoulder with two completely destroyed pups and half his freight spread all over the interstate. And Yes FedEX was standing there with the cops with his Fat #####, sweat pants, and his super trucker headset on.

So after makeing it threw that, Covenant Decided to wreck leaving a 8+hour cleanup while they craned out pieces of what was left of his/her trailer and clean the mess of whatever he/she was hauling off the interstate.

Then on the way back (on the north bound side thank god) a pick up truck pulling a 15' or so utility trailer lost control of the trailer it ended up upside down in the slow lane while the truck was sitting in the hammer lane with a 379 up his ##### and a 15 mile parking lot behind them

    What a day on I-77

NOTE to IDIOTS: GET THE #### OFF THE ROAD!

I got back around 715pm and worked the dock till the end of my 14 at 1030pm since we all got back really late last night.

    Well yesterday SUCKED!

I get to work at #2 manager pulls 2 trucks out of the shop (not fixed yet) for me and the russian guy the walked off the job last week (he was back at work on monday morning like nothing happened...) anyway so i go hook my set and find that BOTH trailer and the Dolly need alot of work. So i get to sit around for 6 HOURS while they fix all their Half Arse repairs, didnt get to leave until late then i go to scale my load since i had a 24,000lb pup took them 40 min and 9 tries and they STILL couldnt just shut up and do what i was telling them to do (6 women behind the desk trying to figure out how to scale a set (i explained it to them and even drew a picture of the 2 positions and they STILL couldnt figure it out) so i gave up and said F it since i was 99% sure i had the numbers i needed.

Then there stupid ATM dont work, we dont have EZ pass in OUR trucks, other terminals have them just not us, so dispatch told me yesterday oh i'll give you a $25 commcheck that should cover it i cant imagin a toll being more then that....Idiots! They didnt wanna listen so i told him im not playing his little game, i'll pay for it and they WILL add it to my paycheck im not spending 4 hours waiting on hold to make a commcheck work. So today doing the same Charleston run

So i had to make yet another stop at the HESS in troutman, NC to get cash for the tolls ($57 round trip with 6 axles) and ran into more traffic on the way up.

This truck i had would be nice IF it had a radio, IF there was a nob on the window handle, and IF the jake worked without pulling the clutch pedal up HARD....WV mountians and a 75,000lbs set....no properly functioning jake (oops wait stupid euro trash motor "exhaust brake") I ALMOST turned around within the 1st 5 miles when i noticed the jake didnt work, but then i tried the pedal and then it worked so i decided to just deal with it. HAD the pedal trick not worked i would have turned around since even with the useless exhaust break and a medium weight set your brakes WILL BE HOT to the point you can smell them BAD going threw 77 in WV, dont matter how low you gear down it just keeps running away from you.

Anyway i get to the meet to meet the oh so happy Cleavland driver at 730pm. Swap trailers and headed back. Got back to the terminal at 12:15am this morning and went home at 12:45am after dropping my set in the yard (relay to atlanta)

8 of us linehaul guys were in the shop yesterday until AT LEAST 11am....a few didnt leave until 12-2pm.....and 2 guys went home because they didnt have a truck for them to use....The #2 manager went off on his boss or whatever on the phone about the crap equipment and truck shortage.

So yesterday deffinatly sucked, and i WILL not ever repete that. I'll do what the other drivers do, sorry im going home, im not waiting here all day...
