Million Safe Miles makes an interesting point which I'd like to add:

The pay is amongst the lowest in the industry and you will lose on average forty thousand dollars every year you work for them compared to working elsewhere especially with the recent supply chain shortage exacerbated by the shortage of truck drivers resulting in other companies increasing driver pay by as much as forty percent this year.

The following links may help your decision whether to stay or leave holland...

Truck drivers now earn up to $150,000 a year amid worker shortages

KLLM Announces Largest Driver Pay Increase in Company History.

US driver shortage could balloon to nearly 240,000 by 2022, | Desi Trucking

A million safe miles is a long way to go working for a company and not be an owner operator and being your own boss and making almost twice as much not having to deal with all the bs that comes with working for someone else. I'd like to add that working at holland you'll be cheated out of detention pay more often than you will be paid. If you have to work for a company then you'll probably find the following links interesting:

US driver shortage could balloon to nearly 240,000 by 2022, | Desi Trucking

Lawrence Freight ups driver pay as much as 40%.

Truck drivers now earn up to $150,000 a year amid worker shortages

Life is too short...I recommend reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad and The Millionaire Fastlane to make the best of time.

I was always under the impression that at the moment of conception, our clock starts ticking, down, and that the limited amount of time we have on this rock is very short.

Love the publishing company that wrote the first article, it’s advertised as the English version of the Punjabi magazine that caters to Punjabi drivers across Canada. Though it hits a few key points, I’m going to take a step back. I’m not sold on Punjabi anything right now, maybe in a few years, but not now.
