That really sucks if Holland is forcing new drivers into per diem. I have not heard this but I keep to myself for the most part, so I would not know. I was asked if I wanted to switch to per diem and said, "no, not presently" and that was the end of it.
jeff18 Thanks this. -
No, I'm still at Holland. I think I'm gonna stick around for a while

Really insults??
Not even gonna adress that or quote it.
Just quit already. Hop on to the next carrier.

Yeah stick with it for a while . Holland really is a good company and they leave you alone. You can make decent money if you stay out for a while and prove yourself reliable
The only way I'd leave is if/when I receive an offer from an LTL company
For the most part all of these otr reefer companies are similar in one way or another so it makes no sense doing a lateral move.jeff18 and Swedish Chef Thank this. -
Yeah. I had to push back my home time plans from late March to early April. Things slowed a little for me around mid March and I was going to come up about a 1,000 miles short of the 36k bonus target. So, I stayed out a bit longer to get an additional march dispatch or two and ended up with around 38k

I had an exceptional 1st Q.
It's unusual for me to get this many miles.
Ended up with over 38k.
Taking off like 2 weeks now in April.
Going on a little trip..drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
I'm scheduled to do my second relay in 3 days tomorrow. I haven't touched a dock in 6 days.
jeff18 Thanks this.
