So, today I finished my 4th day at school. Before I started, I enjoyed reading folks experiences from schools on here so I thought I'd share mine.

Day 1. Day 1 was mainly the drug test and physical to get the Med card and going over some things that will be on the written permit test.. We started with the General Knowledge section. ALOT of highlighting! Harlan is a good instructor in this section, but he likes to tell ALOT of stories. If you have any questions about companies he knows about them all.

Day 2. More HIGHLIGHTING! We moved on to the Air brakes section and Combination Vehicles, and went over what was going to be on the Written Test. Same as day 1, work on job apps during any down times.

Day 3. Went over the test a few times and drove to Jacksonville, AL for the permit test. I will say after studying for it, come on here and take these practice test available. THEY HELP! ALOT!. After that we took a test on regulations.

Day 4. We started learning about the driver logs. Went through it all day. Very easy, but some folks had some issues. It's just basic math.

I will say this, someone from H. O. Wolding came by on day three and I fell in love with this company. A smaller company. I had already ruled out flatbedding based on stories we had heard throughout school. Until today! Someone from TMC came by and I liked what he had to say. They had just bought 1500 brand new trucks. Peterbilt. They all lane changing warnings and radars in the front to alert slowing vehicles. They all have factory built inverters and they all come standard with built in 22in flat screen tvs. My area I can be home every weekend. Now im torn between HO Wolding and TMC, Van or Flatbed. UGHHHHH. Ive had pre-hires from both, so now I have to choose. Good problem to have though.

I will post more as it goes along. Stay safe folks!

Anyone have any quetions about this school feel free to ask. Anyone have advice for me, feel free to post, lol.

Don't choose a company too quickly. There's a couple of dozen to choose from.

I've been researching them for a month now. Started with Roehl and USX as my top 2 choices. Now its HO Wolden and TMC as my top two.
