You are either a real Star Wars fan or just a nut! That is a really obscure quote, I love it!

I really didnt think anyone would be interested in reading this thread at first. I was blown away by the responses!
The only "illegal" stuff I can get away with now is eliminating all the time I can on line 4! I dont see my miles increasing a whole lot, unless you folks have some ideas I have overlooked?

I dont know if I am allowed to do this or how to do it if I am, but I started a new thread titled "Running 99% legal", can I link this thread to that one?
I'd like input from all the "outlaws" (pls note sarcasm) out there to help me maximize my driving time and I will share my experiences here (again, if anyone cares).
Thanks to everyone who gave me their input here! I really appreciated it alot! It was especially gratifying to find out that I had so much support and empathy from my fellow drivers. I really thought it would be like peeing in the wind. (you just get all wet!) Thanks again, look forward to your thoughts on the other thread, "Running 99% legal". Dave.

i dunno how the the people at your terminal do things. at phoenix, i can get away with quite a bit. i haven't been told a single thing by anybody, yet. it's like they've given me 1 foot of rope to play with. i've turned it into over a mile long. i dunno what the limit is. :biggrin_2556:

With this new logbook scoring system, 7 violations in 1 month will bring about consequences, up to termination. However there is not an effeicent system in place to tell a driver when he has accrued any violations. Once a month, a logbook report is run on every driver and a letter to the driver is printed up and put in file folder at my home terminal, of course, I may only see my home terminal every 2 months. So how do I know if I have violations till it's too late?
I brought this issue up to our corporate safety person, Tom, he didnt have a good answer for me. I wasnt suprised. He usually doesnt!
