    I dont think ive ever seen roots but ive heard the name though.

    North? thought you were from Carolina?? and you didn't miss much with the whole Roots thing.. it was an ok piece of entertainment, but that's about it.. Amistade, that's a whole nother story.. that was a really good movie.. i'll co-sign on that all day.

    The word COON is used short for RACOONS.... I am from Kentucky & many a hunter use it. In the 80's that's how we made $$ for Xmas & through out the winter months.. Then it(the profit of it) dried up. Man, I really miss those days hunting with my dad & walking for 8-10 hours a night. Was exhausted but now that I look back that was some of the best days with my dad & uncle.
