I'm glad everything is working out fine for you. I'm really enjoy reading your posts. From the way it sounds you are really going to enjoy flatbeding. You'll never want to go back to swinging doors. LOL wish you the best and looking forward to your future posts.

You have my attention. Will be following your updates as I too, am considering Lone Star as I want to broaden my experience in to heavy haul/oversize trucking.

At the Hotel in Houston, its not as bad as i thought. It isnt the greatest but its do-able.

I think i may be the only one in training....:biggrin_2559: They only do orientation in Gainsville and i was the only new (Flatbedder) so I guess i'll get plenty on 1 on 1 training lol.

How that's just the perfect view for a truck driver. Just like you are looking out the windshield. LOL that would be great if you get one-on-one training. Well I have to get back on the road. When I get back home I know I will have a lot to catch up on your thread. Try to keep it to 10 pages or less will you. LOL have a good one.

Hey there AT. Im glad to see LST is workin for you. Even though it didn't work out for me they were more than decent to me. I'm workin for a friend running 90 and 110 ft long pilings. I'm also workin on my DAC issues. Once I get that straight I'm definitely gonna take LST up on their invitation for me to go back. How'd you like Mr. Ron? Lol. Can't help but like that guy. He's straight forward and tells it like it is but still a very likable guy. I truly believe LoneStar is the last of a dying breed. A company that actually gives a #### about their drivers. Anyway, have a good one and keep us posted. WELCOME TO FLATBEDDIN!!!

Waiting to see how things go for you once you hit the road. Things sound pretty good so far and dang sure getting tired of reefers. May have a convert on your hands.

Wow! According to your post, it's worse than I thought!

So how would that "factoring in" nonsense work for other delays? Such as waitning on the side of the road with a breakdown, a flat tire etc? Not to mention pre/post trips, fueling and any other on duty time not including loading/unloading? By the way, how long do you think a proper pre/post trip should take? Fueling, well that depends on the length of the line doesn't it.

    Hey AT,

I hope it's not too noisy there. Looks like you got a good parking space.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the main reason you left W/S? A friend of mine lives in Bellflower CA and heard they had a terminal in Santa Fe Springs. I think he's interested in applying for them.

Good luck and keep up the great work.
