It's not just about looks. I have been in LTL my whole career, and I know that pretty much every LTL runs a lot of junk. Central Transport is by far the worst I have ever seen. They are constantly getting pulled over and inspected. You will get pulled into scales a lot and inspected. You will be driving the worst of the worst equipment. Their flat rate pay on linehaul isn't even that good.

How do I know all of this? I stupidly worked for them for a few months last year. Worst mistake of my life.

The whole company is piss poor. I urge you to reconsider. Go anywhere else, even Vitran....Just do not go to Central Transport!

Ah you're into them like that, that's cool. I like the looks of the first gens. Anyway, good luck in orientation.

i dont know where you live but i'll be runing 3 states, NC, SC, GA on I-85 nowhere else, NC scales are like Bankers 5pm comes along they go home, SC scales are barely ever open and almost never at night, ga scales are usually closed at night as well. I'm working the night shift 7pm to 7-9am so the odds of me ever crossing a scale are slim to none. So im not worried :biggrin_25525:

Headed south there are 2 yes only 2 scales on the route, and on the way back only 3
