My Experience with Lone Star Transportation

First of all let's get a few things straight. I didn't just "drop by" to stir up some "#####". I've been following this thread since it began, with my first posting happening over 130 pages ago. I've got more than half as many posts in this one single thread as you've got on the entire board. Second, when some 22 year old kid says something stupid, I'm going to call him out on it. Don't get me wrong...he comes across much of the time like he's got a decent head on his shoulders (which is why I've enjoyed following the thread)....but every now and then, his youth and inexperience shows. When he says "you look like a jackarse when you nose it" into a parking spot, I merely reminded the wet-behind-the-ears rookie driver that when he gets a little experience, he'll find that people who have been around will have their reasons for doing the things they do, and that his opinion of what they look like really doesn't matter.

Now if you've got a problem with any of that, it is your problem, and your problems don't really concern me.

looks like I'm going back in the shop, service this time. Dispatcher told me today my idle was way too high, 23%, but the only problem with that is I don't idle. Ever. Good stuff.

 

My dispatcher doesn't bother me with all that crap. She knows that all of a sudden I will go through a bad area and lose all cell reception.

 

yeah she got the message to me over the box after I missed her phone call.

she's cool but I dont have anyone to compare her to either. last time I unloaded in CT they sent me to Jersey, time before that was Baltimore.
