thats right if I remember correctly, been six months for me too. As for oversize and scales pretty sure every permit I've read says you need to stop no matter what.

Just got to FW from Franklin, PA (thank god for unplanned hometime!). I started out last wednesday and picked this up Friday.. so this week is gonna suck for me seeing I only have 16 hours left since I left out of the house last Wed, pick up 8 hours on Thursday and haven't squeezed in a 34. I'm willing to bet I'll be a garland/houstin ###### this week!
On my permits none of them said to stop so I didn't.. but when I was behind an oversized today he took the bypass in western AR near the TX border and he was 4x the size I was. I guess if I need to it should say? I hate that each states laws are so interpretive to the person.. and I can say that.. I'm an ex cop and thats how we did it... arrested based on how we each interpreted it and let the judge.. uh.. be the judge. grrr..... -
Well, I just got hired on here at LST today. I'll be heading to Houston on Sunday for my "securement enhancement." Any advice?

I got a load from Norcross GA to Carlsbad yesterday but lost it to another driver that has to get to Cali... so I'm tcalling it in Ft Worth tomorrow when he gets here and i'm taking his to Houston, then i guess i'm planned on a load from LA to MI. Not too shabby I guess. I grew up and have family up there so if its close enough I might have a place to go for the 4th. -
That's funny, my next load is going to Carlsbad but from NY.

I finally got some home time til the 4th. Its good to get home -
Yeah, I figured it would be a long week. I'm looking forward to it, though. I've never done a whole lot of FB/open deck stuff, so I'm planning on playing sponge and being cheap labor. If any of you guys come through while I'm down there, don't hesitate to introduce yourselves. Just look for the big guy out on the yard who looks like he has no idea what he's doing.
