Bingo. Can't make much money when we get consecutive loads that can take a few hours to secure/tarp the load for a 200/300 mile run. I'll do whatever they tell me but I expect to be taken care of at some point... and I haven't been let down yet.

so I got another oversize from Laredo to Decatur, IL. Nothing too big, 11.5 wide, but big enough. Think I'm half way to level 2 after this one, not sure.

Picked up at Caterpillar in Waco, TX. Dozer blade going to Miami. Load yesterday, get to Lafayette, LA. Get up this morning get to rolling again, get to Marianna, FL weekend dispatch calls me, Waco thinks they loaded the wrong part, I checked, they did. Dispatch calls Caterpillar they tell me to go on to Miami and they will figure it out when I get there. This ain't no minor mess up on Waco's part, the part they loaded on me is suppose to go to Carol Stream, IL. So I got this feeling I will be headed to Illinois next.

Look at it this way: Miles, miles, miles!
-
Yup. Right at 1400 miles Miami to Carol Stream.

I'm doing a legal load Laredo to Clayton NC, then I have to go down to Goose Creek, SC for a Tuesday pickup of aluminum something or another and head to Hidalgo TX just outside Pharr. Another legal and most likely tarped in this wonderful heat again!
-
Last time I picked up from Goose Creek it was not tarped.
Mystikal Thanks this. -
I picked up a load of sheet metal and coils from carol stream, Illinois. Spent 12 hours at the shipper waiting just for them to find my freight in their warehouse. That was fun.
