You could.. but I think the ceremony could be immediately preceeded by a divorce.. heh.
So, apparently I didn't understand the level system.. was hired on as an L1... but was told during my call this morning that i'm eligible to haul oversize.?!? He said I need 8 loads to reach L2.. which I knew.. but was it a probationary thing before being "promoted" to a "permenant L1?" I did haul one that was only 8'5" wide to MI a few weeks back (which obviously wouldn't have qualified me anyways).. then had the excavator that was def. oversize/weight (which I thought I qualified for towards L2.. but apparently not) over the 4th. Were those basically trial runs?
In other news, that level rating.. uh.. increase.. may get me to MI this weekend. He put in a request for an oversize to IL for me so.. thats a good sign.![]()

pedigreed, thats what happens when you are chasing miles, and need miles to make a check. i only look for revenue and the least amount of miles to do that.
but honestly, the funeral threw a monkey wrench into things, to take a week off for what is a very legitimate reason, then expect them to get you back a week later for more time is unreasonable on your part.
when emergencies come up, plans change. if you run otr you have to be fluid. and if not you have to do exactly what you did. the fact is this isnt lonestar fault.
me, i detest running local, it just never suited me, nor did driving someone elses truck, everyone has to find what make them happy.
a lot of companies and drivers dont fit each other, a place i like it at, wont be the place for many others.
otr is what it is, its been that way since i started 33 years ago, it certainly isnt for everyone.Boardhauler Thanks this. -

If its the one I am thinking about, that route is a pain.
AZS Thanks this. -
Yeah. It is. Something like 340 miles of two lanes all the while moving over for the oncoming oversize loads

Through Hot Springs?

don't recall that but there are a couple different ways depending on how wide it is.
