My Experience with Lone Star Transportation

I wasn't but 10' 2". I ain't big timing yet. Lol

 

no pun intended? I know a guy who got a 14' wide to Decatur and his route took him to almost the LA state line and then up. I forgot to call and give my permitted route for the extra pay on mine, LST got some freebies off me.

 

That sucks

 

This one had me taking US59 out of Texarkana, then US70 to US71 through Hot springs... then tomorrow I take like US 60, or 69 or something north out of little rock and cut across more back roads to Marietta AR. I could have made it to Little rock tonight but at the last truckstop before Hot springs found that Saline County don't permit travel between 8p-6a.. I would have been at the pilot at 830.. DOH!

 

you got the turn for AR118? should be towards the end. that one is a joke.

 

Yeah, I did take that last time but was tempted to just jump on 55.. then thought better of it. only a half a mile difference but god forbid we miss the scale thats always closed.

 

Well, I pulled my first piece of equipment today. Not O/D, just a little D6, but still,something different to me. Loading it was a little nerve racking in Galveston, but only because my trailer was angled and off the edge of the ramp.

 

Pharr tomorrow with the rest of these transformers. Then I have no hours. None.
