I am looking for a nice trucking co to go to. Lone Star is one that I am looking closly at. I have lots of flat and step deck experiance but would like to do some OD loads. Is Lone Star a nice outfit? Also, is the Tulsa yard still open?

The Tulsa yard is an O/O yard. But yes Lonestar is still a great company.
Suptrkr Thanks this. -
What is Orientation like for Experience flat/stepdeck drivers?

In Vegas with about 9 other LST trucks delivering to a show. swapping trailers with one of the trucks in the am and heading to phx for a couple days hometime. They wanted to give me a copper load anyway I'm guessing.

AZS u been driving long with LST? Just would like to hear your thoughts on the Co. I am an experiance flat bed driver and have been talking to Elizibeth.

Suptrkr, LST is an excellent company, the only reason I left is that I found something local so I could be at home with my three small kids. If I ever go back on the road, LST will be the first on my list.

I've been here 5 months now and I love it.. and came here also based on this thread. The job offer prompted me to move to Fort Worth and get out of CO... i'd have never seen home living there... and I just got tired of the cold. Best company i've worked for... a few hiccups here and there and didn't get home twice when I was supposed to out of maybe 6 times but nothing compared to other companies.
Tues I took a load from Garland, TX to Houston, then went to Pasadena, TX on Wednesday after my unload for a steel delivery in Freer TX... sent to Laredo to take a load to Victoria, TX, then returned to grab a load to Clayton. Sitting at the Petro just south of Clayton, NC completing a 34.. plan to roll at 3am tomorrow to deliver this.. then head down to Statex, SC to pick up something (i'm assuming pipe based on the name of the company) headed to Garden City, TX.. just southeast of Midland, TX. 2515 miles in a week isn't too bad. I can only guess that from there i'm picking up Sheetrock again from Rotan for a weekend run. Easy load but hate hauling the stuff...American-Trucker Thanks this. -
