Some people hate this load for some reason.

yup think it's the whole NE thing anyway, shipper is a little zealous on their safety protocols imo however. Hard hat, safety glasses, vest, steel toes, have to sit in truck while loading and can't get on trailer at all on their property. Their place, their rules though.

No worries. Quick fix at the T/A in Meridian.

Watching football and getting my reset in at the J in Jarrell.

This load has been a small pain in the #####. A small bump and pieces start shifting. I've had to add 2 4" and 2" straps to it just to keep it all steady. Best way I can describe what I'm hauling is inch thick rectangular plates with foot long bolts welded to them stacked precariously.

oh! you got you a load of bull####! Gonna get those every now and then unfortunately, you did what I would do though and just keep killing it with straps until it settles.

Have you tried belly wrapping it? That might help.. one on each end.

Wish I could. It's all on pallets and half-### shrink wrapped. The put some metal binding on it but it didn't hold real well either. Thankfully I only have 70 more miles to go.

Ahh.. yeah that would pose a problem DJ. lol.

Well, I got to garland and found my load was 17' tall on a 48' extendable tandem trailer... so they decided to transload it to a double drop triple axle extendable trailer. When the hostler went to get it he got stuck in mud.. and the trailer was as well. So, they rescheduled to a Wednesday pickup after another trailer is delivered from the FW yard. Called OPS and they said i'll be staying on it unless I hear otherwise... so.. I told them i'll be at home if they need me. 2 more days at home now.. but honestly i'd have rather been moving. This cabin fever has got me BAD! At least i'm at home though.
