No kidding. It seems like I've been staying in Wyoming and Northern IL lately. Unloaded in Ft. Worth this morning and reloaded out of Bell heading to Corona, CA. Hopefully I'll be in some decent temps for a while.

More than 50 members have read it just in the last couple of days. And that doesn't include the visitors or members who aren't logged in that look at it.

I know that it's not always easy to post updates when you're running hard and tired, but you guys are doing a good job with the thread. Keep up the good work!

I haven't been to CA in forever. Early last summer I want to say? Living in AZ you think I would every now and then. I'll be curious what you get out of there.

I left as soon as my 10 was up this morning and got to Laredo and got the trailer dropped at the broker but the office staff went home and I couldn't turn in the paperwork. Darn, 80 degrees too, barbecue time I'm thinking. Fajitas to be specific lol.

I wish I had one of dem's bbq's you got. That was a great break in period we had that weekend with that thing! Its on my list this summer to get... but until then i'm using my electric skillet to make my burgers.

I had no idea so many people actually read this thread. Wow... guess we all need to step it up a notch! lol.

Ive hauled Onions, Aluminum ingot, their BFG stuff in the dryvan out of Chula Vista, and a machine press out of Cali. More times than not though i'm loaded up with that dry van. If you get that.. go down there and get a 34. Theres a street just off there that dead ends into the facility. park there.. then walk down to the seafood joint thats just in front of you.. and tell me how it is. I haven't had that load in quite a few months now so I haven't had a chance. I did my 34 in the yard last time and wish I went down there to do it so I could try it. BFG is right off the pacific and theres a marina too you could probably walk around in if ya wanted to.. beautiful! And, beats sitting in the Fontana yard!

After sitting in Sparks at the petro for 3 hours on Friday I got the order to deadhead to Fort Worth via the planner... from Reno. Seriously? I figured it would be hard to find freight with this double drop that far north but I didn't expect them to deadhead me 1650 miles to Forth worth. I still haven't received a plan but I can only suspect that 1) i'm headed to Atlas to haul something or 2) i'm fired... lol. I haven't really done anything to warrant a firing so I'm hoping its for Atlas or the like. Its good i'm getting there though.. i've had a tuna & pasta dish I forgot to bring with me last time I left sitting in the fridge... 4 weeks now. That should be nice and ripe for the cleaning!

I'm parked by truck # 412 here at the casino in Bernalillo, NM.

Y'all don't have a policy where you can't talk on a cell phone going down the road even with a hands free device? I think the outfit I work for is going to implement this policy. I don't agree with this policy. If the feds are fine with you talking on a hands free device, why aren't some of these companies?

I'm really looking into coming to Lone Star if they implement that new cell phone policy. I want to get into heavy haul and work toward owning a truck. Heavy haul is the best opportunity I think in making it as an owner operator.

Y'all be safe and we'll catch you down the road.
