yup 34k on those tandems, pretty nice trailer though, looks like they just replaced a bunch of pieces around the neck so that's nice. Tell Bob you'd like to get by your house if possible but guessing you did. If you don't get a load I'd just bobtail home tonight.

on a random side note it's nice of sirius to automatically renew you without even so much as a notification they're about to take almost $200 out of your account.

If I don't get a load the lady is gonna come get me.. only 30 miles to her pad. She wants to spend the evening with me if possible (I was voluntold on this "request")... so I figure I could appease her for the "holiday" and still get my laundry done.. kill 2 birds with one stone. Its not home... but... well... you know where I could go with this.
I go month to month on Sirius... that way I know when its coming out. More expensive.. but I like the control. -
I meant to actually tell them I was going to cancel but it slipped my mind, I wasn't actually going to cancel but they're one of those companies that will cut your bill in half in order to get you to stay apparently.

About those Espar type bunk heaters... Check that the little flexible exhaust vent that sticks out from behind/under the cab is not clogged. Mine used to get clogged with packed snow while driving. Caused the exact same problems. Thought the warmth from the exhaust would have melted the snow, but had to learn the hard way to make sure it's clear before shutting down during a snowstorm. The few minutes it would try to start up only slightly melted the snow, actually creating a air-tight seal where the system couldn't exhaust (breath?), triggering an automatic shutdown. BTW, been reading this thread for heads up on LS. I think I'll give them a call. Sounds like they have a good working relationship with the drivers. Drive safe.

yeah their a pretty good comapny Straykat... I personally have a great working relationship with my DM. The heater problem was in an area with no snow. I pulled the wiring harness out to check it and make sure it was all plugged in and since its been working.. so it could have been a short somewhere.
I finally scored a load of parts from Garland to Houston. I was told it could deliver today or Monday... so i opted to deliver monday since if I delivered today i'd most likely be sitting in Houston through the weekend... so I opted to pick it up today and head home for the weekend.. delivering monday instead. No word on a preplan yet as of noon, however. -
I'm on a whopping 445 mile run for the weekend. This paycheck is going to suck, but a little worse than I thought it would. I'm afraid to mention to my DM that I'd like some longer runs thinking then I'd be stuck in the Northwest when I'd like to get home or something of the sort.
