No offense taken. Just gotta be a little creative when planning home time. I try not to plan anything so I don't have specific dates to be home outside of Christmas and my boy's birthday.

Thats about how I am as well. I tend to get home anywhere between 3 and 10 weeks depending on the burnout factor and work the hardest during the summer when we're most busy. But, sometimes you just need to sit on your own toilet and drink a beer that don't cost $4.50 per bottle after having showered in your own environment... so being home sooner than later is better. The fact I get through home every few weeks and can see the lady helps, however, in staying out longer.

I don't even remember the last load I posted.. nor am I movated to look. I think it was that I was sent to Houston from Garland. Then, I picked up some roofing or siding material to Marion Springs, AL and delivered to a compressor station being built there.. then I went to Iuka, MS to get roofing panels for railroad cars to eagle pass, Tx. Been sitting here since 730a and am still not unloaded as of now... guess i'm headed to laredo next to get an oversize to Decatur.. but if they don't get me unloaded and I get to Laredo soon.. i'll be spending my weekend in Laredo unless someone from the yard there can measure my load and they order permits before I get there!

did you get your permits? Heck, did you get unloaded? lol If it was a scraper bowl they already know the sizes or they should have anyway. i'm gonna call you Saturday night or Sunday about how to take down the gooseneck on this trailer, I know you were actually trained haha. I already got my next preplan, Galveston, TX to Aurora, CO. All I know is it's oversize and since it's from the Galveston port it's most like something that needs to be driven on the trailer.

Here is my current load, 12'6 from Laredo to Houston port, lucked out on the permit, I-35 1604 LP, I-10E basically. Picture of course.

Nice! You didnt have to take that crappy 59 route! Man do I hate that route! Thats all I ran as a L0.

Yeah, gimme a call.. I'll walk ya through it. Take as close of a pic to te neck assembly as you can and send to me before you call. I guess not all the trailers are created equal so I want to make sure I am telling you the right thing. Be sure you have a good sturdy piece of dunnage... Your gonna need it for that neck when its removed. Thats a good run to Aurora... I like going up there. Thats my old area so I get to always see great friends.

I did finally get unloaded... At 1415. Darn sure putting in for detention! Thats 4 hours wasted I coulda been rolling. But, I went to laredo and got a scraper bowl to Decatur. I did get all my permits... i figured they knew the size so why he wanted dimensions I dont know. Couldnt leave till this morning though. But Dj found me so he helped me secure... Then I think we sat around bs'ing till like 1030 or some crap. Shoulda stuck around bro... We needed a grill! LOL.

Glad to see everyone has good good loads and is moving. I had some time off and the wife, baby, and I got a cabin up in the Blue Ridge mountains. I'm sitting here at the Anna Truckstop on US 75 waiting to unload a Cat genset in Denison tomorrow. This was the first time in 9 months that they've gotten me a load out of the Cat plant that's literally 3 miles from my house. I picked it up Thursday and actually got to head back home until yesterday evening, so that was pretty nice. Last time I emptied out in east Texas I sat for 2 days waiting on a load though, so I'm hoping with fingers crossed that it has picked back up around here a little.

mg... we're back to pullin' alot out of Atlas so im betting you'll get something out of there pretty quick. Not a long run to Houston but at least its movin'.

AZS... I sent you an email with a link to the grill I have. I'm willing to bet you might have a defective regulator. I'd take it back to walmart and tell them its jacked... hopefully they'd replace it! How long did you sit on detention with that?

I didn't see a grll in Laredo... hell.. they don't even have towels for the showers so I wouldn't expect a grill.

cool, appreciate the link, you're probably right on the regulator though it's probably damaged from the bumping around and not defective lol. Ended up from arrival to empty being just under 9 hours...they might deny me detention pay though seeing as I was delivering it early and didn't have to be anywhere till Monday. But I'll send it in anyway.
