To be quite honest.. at this point I can't remember. I know it was an oil field staging yard at 825 and Township road 552. The name escapes me tho.

I got a dumptruck from Galveston to Aurora CO... ended up meeting up with the other 2 delivering there on the way so we just ended up convoying to the delivery... now i'm deadheading to Gainesville for lord only knows what.

updates thats right, looks like a negative on my board request so this thread will have to do still which is fine. Anyway, unloaded in College Station this morning then sat until noon when I get the word to drive to Ft. Worth and hurry..got told enroute that it was bell helicopter and they stop shipping at 3 and the ETA on my gps says 3 is when I'll get there so long story short I made it and they were calling me as I was turning into the place wanting to know if I'm there. Sheesh. Turned out to be two little crates going to Corona, CA. 5,000 pounds. Already got backhaul for Monday too, oversize from Fontana to SC...but I'm only taking it as far as Phoenix. Hometime.

    Hello

Been scanning alot of posts. I spoke to a Lonestar recruiter over a year ago and got alot of good info but ended up going with another company. I recently called and spoke to a "new" recruiter who seemed to know basic info but lacked when i went into detailed questions. I have been looking for your trucks and only run into 2 in 3 days (and they were sleeping so left em alone). What are your primary routes so that I can hopefully run into some drivers and get their views on the company? Very interested but would rather talk to several drivers and get a good feel from them before making the decision to jump.

    Thanks

Could aways just start a new thread so we're not piggybacking on Andrews anymore... since he's banned now I guess. Sweet runs though... didn't you just come off hometime? LOL.

@Diesel.. once you build up a reputation with the planners you'll prolly run more.. your first 2 or 3 months they seem to take it easy on you but it really helps once you hit L1. I kept busy as a L0 but it was during last summer... I couldn't imagine this time of year. Seems when you get down to Houston as a lower level though there isn't much to haul... I really dont know if thats the time of year or the location tho.

@Lab.. our routes are very irregular. When I think I might have a freight pattern down they really throw it off. Its just a luck of the draw. If you'd like tho, i'll shoot you my personal email tho and you can ask me all the questions you want to know. I'm a straight shooter... very pro company as I really like LS.. but I won't BS you either. There are pros and cons to every company and this one is no exception.

On a side note, I don't think I posted it but I wound up with 10,693 miles for February with 3 weekends at home. Not too bad for the slower months.

Yes Mystikal would very much appreciate the chance to hear both good and bad. Been looking at LS for over a year off and on. Tried to shoot ya my email and number but system won't allow me to, until I get 7 posts. so a few more to go.

Eh this thread is ok for now, if a new is going to be made it needs to be done right but since you have the weekend off and aren't doing anything maybe you want to? ;) Yeah good loads other than, well my last one, good times driving on just little above a quarter tank or less for 1000 miles but that's truckin. Not worth going back to the shipper 100+ miles away and having them take one bundle off, redo the paperwork, even if they would, no telling. Easier just to roll. It's been almost 5 weeks since last hometime and thats about where I like it, 6 would be better but they already had this set up, I didn't even ask for it.

Yeah, who knows. Its just the beginning of the manufacturing season, so hopefully things will be in full swing when I get my L1. Like I told another driver here, I'm not afraid to pay my dues and cut my teeth and prove my work ethic, cause I know that it'll pay dividends later down the road.

I didn't know that there was a request to start a new board. Sounds like you guys have talked about it before, is there anything that I could help with? Or has it all been handled as much as possible for now?
