My Experience with Lone Star Transportation

I was almost headed there today after I unloaded, got a Laredo to Houston load. I was at 900 miles for the week and that load didn't pick up till Monday. Had to call in and ask what was up with a possible 4th consecutive sub 400 mile run and my dispatcher came through. Now I'm going to Aurora, IL.

 

Haha, ill be headed out to laredo to pick up headed to aurora also in a few minutes. Ill probably be there around 9-11.

No, I'm still a 00, so not allowed to pull those yet. I got into the yard around 9 this morning after hoofing it from houston. Picked up a preload going to aurora, il and the trailer was redtagged for new airbags, so I had to wait for the mechanic to do that before I could leave. But now I'm at the TA in New Braunfels for the night.

 

I might have drove right past you then, you come down 35 or US 59, anyway which load did you get? flatbed with those black pieces of steel that had to be tarped on the back half?

lol wasn't me, I got the same stuff as you but on a step deck, your trailer was next to mine when I loaded. I'm attempting to be there in Aurora Monday am.

 

Yeah, no way ill be there monday, ill run out of hours. So I'm taking a reset in gville and going to deliver Tuesday afternoon. Not ideal, but its what I have to do

 

Why reset in Gainesville?

 

So I can get out of the truck for a little while, I have a friend that lives near by. Plus, since ill be here all day tomorrow, im going to see if the shop will take a look at a few things for me But, I got totally screwed up on my days. I thought today was saturday, so looks like I won't deliver until Wednesday... I sure screwed this one up.
