by the way those are not new humvees if you couldnt tell, they're going to Texas to be refurbished. Couple of those have flat tires but that sure makes them ride nicer. 4 wheelers seem to be very enamored with the load as well.

Look at that purdy and shiny truck! Picked up my six cat engines this morning, sleeping at the west memphis TA then on to houston tomorrow. This load weighs less than the pipe. Lol. Guess ill get my fuel mileage bonus! :)

Dropped off the engines today. Sitting empty in waller, tx headed to navasota in the morning to pickup some steel headed for Laredo. Then hopefully headed towards home.

I was deadheaded from St. Louis to Fairmont, MN to pick up platform scales headed to Laredo. I'm due home though so i'm taking this to Fort Worth to drop... haven't heard if another truck is assigned to it yet but it's due down there Friday.

These rear sliding axle trailers suck.. right over the axles are steel plates... and essentially nothing to hook the straps on.. nor are there places to put clip-ons on it for straps.. so I ended up using 8 2" straps to hold that darn thing down on the rear. Took me nearly 2 hours between strapping with those and shoveling 1' of snow off it. I'm so glad i'm headed home...

Yeah, those trailers are a pain in the rear end for sure. Made it the Laredo yard all set to get this load dropped off in the morning, then I get to ask if there's any frieght here that's headed to the great NW so I can get some hometime.

Have a great and productive hometime Mystikal. Sounds like were both ready for a few days off.

I dunno how long ill be here, hopefully not too long but if I'm still here on friday I may run into you again. All depends on if there's anything headed the way I want. Red and I split ways yesterday after offloading those engines, that's a good guy to have around.
