toldya so! lol Where you goin with it? BTW those are easy loads (except for the weight go in LOW on fuel) They tarp and strap it for you you have to leave them 8 straps, 16 V boards, and both of your Big Tarps. They wont tighten the staps you have to do that (i also rethreaded them since they are idiots and roll ALL the extra strap around the winch :biggrin_2559:.

Also if they didnt give you an address (they wont have it) ask for directions, google the town and look for the hospital he's telling you about, you'll be comeing north take the Left on the first FM after the hospital (you'll see all the rubber on the road from drivers slamming on the brakes when they see it at the last min). Idle down the FM (mine field), when you get to the end, take a left you'll have 3 options there GO LEFT, follow the road, drop MT in a spot, walk to the right side of the building little staircase with door office is inside Bathrooms are locked FYI lol.

Also there is a little Red Mailbox next to what looks like a shed labeled Lone Star thats where you can pickup your paperwork sometimes (or so i was told)

DO NOT drive past that fence you'll see the signs

Im sure you could figure all this out, but this is all the info you need and that you most likely will not be able to get from dispatch (other then what to leave there) and this will make your d/h much quicker:biggrin_25525:

ahh a classic. Yea i've noticed they will NOT let you leave the shop unless the truck looks good. I got held up because a lug nut cover didnt look good enough they had to replace it :biggrin_2559: I Love it (when it doesnt interfer with your log) I HATE companies that dont care or dont take care of there equipment.

Almost forgot, got another paycheck the other day $1,4xx take home.

And I'm going home, home time is 9th-13th 5 days off. So i can get my taxes done, so Osama...oops i mean Obama can send me the money he owes me, and i can look at these pay stubs and see what im makeing out here.

I also ordered a new toy (tool really) i'll post a reveiw once i get home to play with it for a little bit. If it works as good as the inverntor claims might just try to get LST to buy them for all the company drivers.....try to anyways it would deffinatly save them some liability.

I know that cross-chaining sounds and looks good-but they're right. Think about that unit sitting on your trailer, but cross-chained instead of the way they made you do it. Now imagine one of the anchor points breaking off the unit-do you see how the remaining chain would do almost nothing to secure the unit without its companion chain? The way they made you tie them down, if one chain comes loose somehow, the other one will still keep the unit from moving.

As for the number of chains, I think somebody else covered the WLL, and how a 6600lb WLL chain is good for 13,200lbs of cargo (legally), but I thought I'd include a link to this chart to show you that the WLL and the actual strength of you securement devices are a long ways apart.

    Grade 70 Chain Specs.
