American Trucker -
I just hauled a load from Columbus, Ohio that delivers to Rome on Monday. I got here so early they had me drop the trailer at our Tunnel Hill terminal.
I'm doing a 34 reset, so I might still get to run that one in. I suspect I'll have to keep an eye out for ya.American-Trucker Thanks this. -

i almost broke a sweat today!
i know i know, i really shouldnt work this hard
Anyway so i went over to my truck, loaded it all up, warmed it up (hasnt been started in 8 days) checked to make sure all my fuel is still there, no missing chrome or lights, no damage, tarps still there, trailer still MT, etc and to get my load info, so i can plan my route.
I have two options and oddly enough the longer "looking route" will not only save me time but miles as well over one of the other to route options....arg i'm gonna flip i coin and let it choose which way im going.
Option 1: 11.5 hours, 668 miles, plenty of parking 1.5 hours from the receiver....(i could get closer but who wants to park in Gary, IN?)
Option 2: 11 hrs 53 min, 686 miles, 2 sheety parking options (small pilot and a small Petro) about 37 min from the receiver
my problem is do i want to be 1.5 hours from the receiver vs 37 min, 4 more gallons of fuel vs 18 less miles, 11.5hrs vs 12 hrs, 2 lane with stop lights vs Interstate the whole way
anyhoo
then i check to see what my paycheck was......$2,500 TAKE HOME! suddenly im feeling richer$5,100 yesterday from Tax Returns + $2,500 pay check today....ahhh sure is nice being young, single.

Satilite Radio Review:
Ok so a few weeks ago i finnally gave in and bought a Sat radio...this one to be exact:
And i LOVE IT! I have been avoiding this stuff for what 10 years now, seems stupid to pay for what you can get for free. Well there are far to many places in the Country without radio signal, listening to the same 20 songs all day everyday drives me nuts, and changing the station 6000 times a day makes me want to throw the radio out the window.
BUT with XM im no longer haveing those problems, always something i like on, great comedy stations. I literaly listened to Howard Stern (first time in my life) ALL THE WAY from Laredo, TX to Sanford, NC and wasnt bored for a second!
Plus last year i got to watch 2 races last year out of 36 (one of which i was AT the race)And of course with the "Network" crap now all but 10 races are on Cable/Sat stations (TNT/TBS/SPEED/ESPN) soooo even with my TV in my truck the odds of being able to watch the race (considering you dont get (ABC/NBC/FOX) in most places) XM has a NASCAR station! so i'll NEVER miss a race!
so for anyone out there that was like me avoiding the $19/month....if you can afford it GET IT!
took less then 5 min to set up. NOTE: the cab and mirror brackets on a 379 are NOT magnetic.....Luckily the Stainless Steel Visor is!

Blue Parrot BTX250 (Blue Tooth) Review:
Again i have been avoiding this sheet like the plague. And Finally got one, $99....
I can not and WILL NOT, where this stupid crap 24/7 like all these idiots are doing....not gonna happen! But i will put it on when i have to use it. Works great, i was standing 1 foot from the grill of my truck WHILE running, and my dad could hear me just fine, and couldnt hear my truck at all. So it does its job, i like it except for have that crap on my head....
but given the new laws and $2,700 fine to the Driver and the $11,000 fine to the carrier (which mean your butt is FIRED) if you get caught holding a phone......makes the $99 worth it.
American TruckerAirborneII, alex94, U4EA and 3 others Thank this.
