When I was at TMC, I learned how to make a good tool to use for that AND for straps. Will cost you about $6 at Home Depot.

Get an 8 foot section of pvc pipe, and a pvc "T" to fit it. Glue the odd end of the "T" onto one end of the 8ft pipe, then cut a 1/2" slit along the top of the "T".

    Voila!

You can put the strap hooks in there and push it all the way through to the other side of the trailer, or you can put the hook end of the chain in there and push/pull that through. I even used it for hooking bungees up near the top of a plywood load when I couldn't reach the ring from the ground.

Whew.....finally caught up, finished all 83 pages. I've loaded those 2 white buildings at NOV in Houston many, many times. Its been great following along with you. I put my app in Friday, they called me and are starting the verification process. Stay safe, maybe I'll see you out there soon.

Wow, a driver that keeps his CB on while driving, I thought we were a dying breed. You got an ol'school spirit at your young age, not enough of us out here anymore.

I dunno, think I'd just stick with "Boy Wonder"..would be funny to hear what the guys who were listening had to say about that. :biggrin_25525:

Once I have a truck with a CB I'd probably keep mine on as well.
