eware the $50.00 Inactivity fee. I am so mad at these people, they called and said you have been inactive, but no mention of the fee. I updated my credit card and tried to set up a hotel, but there were none in the area I was travelling. My mistake, because when I was not able to, they charged me the $50 fee. I had almost 3 months of solid stays prior, and they gave no consideration to that. I will never do business with these folks again.

Is there a way to get a card as a company driver? Our carrier won’t give drivers a personal card....whoever is on breakdown duty will call in their card or crew fax but this hasn’t always been accepted and I’ve had to quickly look elsewhere or the company ended up paying the non-clc rate.
Aside from break down situations, I like to take a hotel once in awhile to get out of the truck—I stay out for months at a time—and it would be nice to enjoy a discount for the places that don’t give discounts to general CDL holders.
