Patty How does he keep his trainer from getting fired? How does he keep his trainer from abandoning him at the hospital? Why is he going to be with a trainer who tells him to drive when sleepy? Are you serious?

I guess different strokes for different folks.Werner was my first company and I ended up staying there for 3 yrs,I had an awesum trainer.
-
I don't see how when a student is sick and the trainer takes him to the hospital is considered "babying"..sorry.
Dennis_Miller, Rick_C, Kash6972 and 2 others Thank this. -
Well Patty good for you. Times change and he has has 3 bad trainers. So what?
-
So he says but untill I hear the trainers side I can't believe him.I don't believe his trainer made him drive tired either.
-
Ya ok believe what you want.
Dennis_Miller Thanks this. -
He didn't drive tired he pulled over and he got told to get out the truck. He did the right thing. You wasn't there, and I guess people just like to make stuff up about the big blue to taint their good name in the industry. NOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT
Kash6972 Thanks this. -
I don't see how its considered "babying" someone. My husband is a trainer & he doesn't treat his trainee's this way. Its unnecessary. PERIOD! I don't know what trainer did this but I can tell you, if my husband were to he'd be in a lot of trouble. It boggles my mind as to how some truckers can get away with stuff but others can't. Were not in the 3rd grade with clicks & stuff.
okieboy, zentrucking, Dennis_Miller and 1 other person Thank this. -
I hear and understand what you're saying but sometimes you just have to suck it up and get thru training.Thats great your husband is a real good trainer, wish every trainer was like that but in trucking that'll never happenIf he thinks Werners training is such a joke, what makes him think the next company will be any better.I can see it now,a yr from now he'll still be in training trying to find just the right trainer.
jbatmick Thanks this. -
I been driving over 14 years and I can have a 10 hr break, but between 3to 6 I get sleepy. This guys hasn't been driving a month and all the trainer cares about is making money and not being safe. Are you kidding me. You are going to kick somebody out your truck because they didn't want the equipment and their trainer in a ditch somewhere.
When I was training students couldn't even drive after midnight. Hope he finds a good trainer or finds another carrier.Kash6972, problemsolved233, okieboy and 1 other person Thank this.
