My experience with Werner, The Big Blue Screw

Kids don't know when they have it good.

 

What can I say about Werner? I wouldn't run a trucking company that way! That is for sure! Too bad that they appear to be above average for a trucking company.

 

I started out with werner in 2008. I didnt listen to the bad gossup or the warnings from other drivers. Figured you have both happy and mad drivers in every company, and since bad news travels fast I chose to ignore what I was hearing. I know from experience now, werner has to be the worst company ever to work for. They will use up entry level drivers. They will lie, and cheat you out of pay. I left after a couple months and went to May trucking and have been happy ever since. Is there a better company than may. Maybe, but they treat me good and im not willing to find out. More bad companies out there than good. Go to what ever company you desire, but if you choose werner I wish you the best. My rear end is still bleeding from them.

 

What did Werner lie about?How much did they cheat you out of pay give or take a few dollars?

 

Of course there salesman (Recuiters) told us in school that we would get 350 per week as a trainee, and 27 cents per mile when we solo. As a trainee I got 125 per week, because they put me on their per dm. I never signed up for it and I did not want it, but they would not let me off of it. Then when I soloed out, they put me on a b.s. flex plan I never even herd of. The flex plan is the more you drive the less you make. They were paying me 19 cents a mile. I was driving 3000 to 3500 miles a week. I almost lost everything working for those crooks.
