Got notification in the mail today that Im part of a Class-Action lawsuit against Werner. Apparently they aren't even paying minimum wage. LOL who woulda thought. Hope they win and it puts the big blue screw out of business for good.

Werner has to be the worst company out there, few weeks ago I was talking to one of their drivers he was telling me his dispatcher was kind of mad @ him because he got off the road due to bad weather, another one was telling me Werner started charging drivers if their load was late, don't know how true this is but with them you never know.

Hey there JB, I AM a veteran(92Y) supply Sgt, just retired early October 21 years. I am really considering Werner as my first trucking job. I live in Kansas and hope to begin at the begining of December. Give me some more of your experiences. Drive safe and take care

Werner is a sketchy operation.
Their recruiters won't give you anything in writing about what you've agreed to on the phone, not about pay, fleet assignment, training conditions or pay, nothing. Can't be bothered, I guess.
That's where the process stopped for me.
Put it in writing or GTFO.
Roehl is a much better company than Werner, very up front about everything, will send you a letter with all of your hiring details (FWIW, lol).VdotFoxx Thanks this. -
I feel ur pain. I came to werner and it started out great. Only had to runderstand 70 hrs with a trainer at first as per my contract. Finished my 70 hrs in 9 days and then had to wait 5 days to get a truck. Now the bad part. I get my truck, fuel card etc on wed and then thursday after getting hometime approved and a load dispatched to me they decided that they needed team drivers worse then solos. They pulled me off my truck and stuck me back with a trainer again for another 70 hrs co driving. Then they tell me that I can't take hometime after I upgrade the second time. I will have 30 days with werner on the 13th. Once I hit the 13th I will begin looking for a new company. I was completely lied too by the recruiters and orientation staff. My guarantee went out the window and they tried to take away my division and make me go on eh 48 state account. I have over 9 yrs experince verifiable but they refused to honor it. I was cool with the first 70 hrs because I had been out of a truck for 4 months but this is a load of *********. My take on werner is simplemented if u like team driving it's a good place to work. If u wanna be solo find a different company.
