I agree. Yes I drove for SWIFT and was a mentor for SWIFT. You sound like "one of those guys" you already know everything before you get there and are anoyed that someone is actually wanting you to learn something you "THINK" you already know.
Problem is you believe everthing you think. Don't believe everthing you think. It allows you to be (dare I say it) Trainable.inkeper Thanks this. -
I have only 60 hrs left on this Mentor program. I still barely sleep in the lower bunk. It doesn't smell or anything or I would not like that part at all. The ride is rough and sometimes hurts when we bottom out, but we have worked it so we don't do much of that and still get our team ours in. I don't know of many companies that will just turn you over to one of their trucks. Heck my brother is the controller for a large hauling firm and couldn't hire me there because the insurance company wanted 2 years experience. I'm getting experience at Swift. Been away from home for almost a month and it has been hard. I think this adventure is here for a reason. Are you cut out to do over the road. 240 hours weeds out the poor candidates.
Junkeronckid Thanks this.
