Sometimes, but this one is pretty cut and dry.

Last time I spent the night in a daycab, was in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. About 1989, in a 1975 359 Pete. Briefcase between the seats covered with a big coat I always kept, and legs hanging out the drivers window. Marked as Off Duty ......
Not saying that’s proper in the eyes of the ones that hate us, but, sometimes choices are few. Just don’t have to tell them if they look at your logs, unless they ask, which is rare in my experience.....Badmon, cke, beastr123 and 1 other person Thank this. -
That's crap! You need to hire a lumper.tommymonza, D.Tibbitt, Brettj3876 and 3 others Thank this.

I hit the jackpot on the van side Lol. One shipper is 15min to load 13-15 totes. Another place if it takes longer than 30 min he always says sorry it took so long. Man i wish every place was like this is what he says everyone tells himcke, God prefers Diesels, tommymonza and 2 others Thank this.

You guys work to hard.
You oughta deliver milk, somedays I could take a 34 while waiting to get unloaded.
Detention started at 3 hours so as a company driver cpm didn’t pay much more if I was rolling.
Most of the time they will come out and knock on your door but there was one plant in Michigan I hated.
You literally had to be awake 8-10 hours moving the truck forward a truck length every 30 minutes.cke and God prefers Diesels Thank this. -
When I was in the oilfield, I remember watching the sand haulers. Just a long line of trucks pulling up one truck length at a time. No thanks!cke Thanks this.

Have you been delayed yet since creating this thread?PPLC, cke, Brettj3876 and 1 other person Thank this.

Yes, as a matter of fact! It was hauling some structural steel pieces to a huge building being built. Lot of logistics going on. I bet they had twenty forklifts, and ten big trellis cranes. Anyways, I was there five hours. In the end, they picked the whole load at once with a big forklift. Took like two minutes. Got some detention out of it, though. I guess I can't complain. The load ended up paying $3.99 per mile.PPLC, Flat Earth Trucker, cke and 2 others Thank this.
