My fear, winter driving.

Idaho is my home area... We have had alot of freezing drizzle and fog lately... Especially down on the I-84 corridor.

 

Typically the permanent Winter fog bank is in the panhandle, which is where I'm headed in a few weeks.

 

Companies want you to shut down in ice & snow and high winds.

 

Yep, last winter had to chill through the end of Jan and whole Feb when it was crazy even it TX. This winter half of Dec and half of Jan due to passes closed and flooding. It takes a week to replenish the bank for "lost" time, so not a biggy, I prefer to play it safer than most. It is better to watch pile ups on YT, than in person in my book.

 

Weather advisory this week in Illinois & Indiana. Stay safe.

Brokers usually call me way ahead of time when the weather is going to be bad for the following week, so they have these loads booked. They know just stay home.

 

It is supposed to get 1-2 feet where I am staying tonight.
(Indiana headed to IL)
By morning it'll be bad enough to stay shut down until sometime Thursday.
