That's a good attitude to go in with. Eventually the novelty of getting paid anything to drive a truck wears off and you want more for your time, but at first it's a hoot to be tooling around the country in a sleeper cab and learning the tricks of the trade, to the point where you really don't even care if you aren't making much.

 

I thought I read somewhere that WS bumped up the starting pay to 29 cents per mile, no ?
