I think I am going to do 40-50K oil changes in the future.
No need to go longer I guess if I do them myself.
I can make some ramps from stacked 2x8's to get under.
I just hope I don't strip the pan bolt, since its plastic.

    Rideandrepair Thanks this.

Fine, but do as @Ridgeline suggested and draw sample out at @ 10k and send it in to see how it compares to the analysis you just did. Then go from there.

I am not opposed to that idea.

Sample should be done at mid drain point ideally. If getting from dipstick. Common sense says find the mid point of oil by measuring. Maybe it’s 6-8” off the bottom??? Whatever. Run engine, shut off, pull sample from middle or lower, somewhere between middle and bottom of pan.

I put a quick drain on mine. Usually a gallon low when I change it. I keep 7 or 8 empty jugs in the side box. It’s easy to change. Put down cardboard. Put a garbage bag inside a box. Use a funnel w/handle made from a windshield washer or similar type in jug in box. Knock a hole in bottom of oil filter, one at a time. Catch oil, using 1 empty jug for each. ( make sure oil filters will come loose before knocking a hole in them. Lol.) Fill new filters with oil, put new oil on gasket ( so it doesn’t get stuck on, and can be removed next time) and install, snugging them up good with the oil wrench, not too much, don’t damage the filters. The old adage “ hand tighten only” doesn’t apply to Trucks. I’ve done it, and had one come loose. Seen others come loose. It’s a common thing. Now I’ve got an extra empty jug. Drain oil from pan, 1 gallon at a time. Trying not to over fill jugs. Consolidating oil as needed. Trying to keep it clean, large towel helps, just in case. Lol. Old empty filters get tossed in the trash, along with box and cardboard. Old def containers are good for draining oil into if you don’t have empty gallons. Easy to find. Dispose of oil at Truckstop shop drain pan. If home, I take it to NAPA, no limit. Others have a 3 gal or so limit. Make 3 trips if needed. Advance, Oreillys, Autozone. Takes a good hour. Longer to dispose of oil. Saves at least $200. I paid till the $199 special at T/A ran out about 15 years ago. Couldn’t beat that deal.
