    Update on this thread:

    I received a call from Farmer's Insurance the company of the young lady who hit me. They assumed ALL liability and paid for everything. They were very polite.

    They were very lucky they didn't have to pay out millions in vehicular manslaughter charges if I or anyone else was killed in that stupid driving maneuver performed by that young lady.

    I realize just how fortunate I was in this situation, especially in light of what happened last weekend down in L.A. http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-big-rig-tips-bursts-into-flames-20160227-story.html

    Hard to believe that ANY insurance company would assume all liability on anything any more.

    Yeah that's true. However, the accident report was very incriminating against the young lady.
