Man anywhere else would be fine crst trainers are ### holes im sitting at home after 5 months on the road and got fired for ? im not even sure why i got fired i been out there on the road dong my job and now i have a cdl i can't do nothing with .
Central Refrigerated out of West Valley Utah was most likely the company he was referring to. There are several threads on here from guys and gals that went through their school and training.
The way I see it everyone is going to starve through the first 4 weeks of training over the road. Central Refrigerated pays you 350 a week for the first 2 weeks that is roughly .11 to -.14 cents per mile. Then you go to 400 a week then shortly after that 450 when you get hired on by them you will make .25 cents an hour driving solo with not a lot of guaranteed home time. Swift is willing to pay you 9 dollars an hour and then .25 cents a mile and Prime will pay you 600 a week during your training days. CR England which every one knows is a nightmare will pay you a whole .12 cents a mile running solo. I am going to go be leaving for CRST on Sunday, I will be arriving in Riverside at their new terminal that afternoon to start my training. I , like everyone else, will do my 8 months, re-evaluate the pay situation and then decide whether or not I will move on. Just bust your ### during your training get your cdl and move on that is all you can do. That is what I am going to do.
