I’ve found a few times in the past that if it becomes REAL difficult, I cut the Bluetooth/data connection [where it can’t get bad construction data] and the problem goes away
(Check Google Maps Traffic. It rarely gets things wrong in it’s graphical presentation of closures. Garmin on the other hand used to be bad about sensing a lane closure as a road closure though they seemed to have corrected that issue for the most part in prior update)
