so, ####### that I am, bought a GPS at the truck stop to replace a $5 power cord. Now I have a $299.99 plus $22 tax GPS I don't need.
Got home and bought a new power cord for $5.
I'm a dumb butt.

Keep the new gps as a backup for when the first one fails again. I noticed they are only good for a few years before they start to crap out. The maps don't change all that much and when they do you can follow the signs they put up anyway.
