I'm giving them my year. Don't have a clue what happens then.

I had a little 600 mile run, then a 300 but right now am on a 1575 miler from OH to Laredo.

Look here is what I have learned some of the ones who have been here at PAM along time are leaving, and I have had to call Norma to get things stgraight finally got home for a weel and back to Toon Town and trained on Doubles and getting a decated run that will get me my miles each week and get me home on the weekends so its starting to work just need a new truck so I would not have to keep fixing one and then cleaning up the mess other drivers leave in the trucks PAM is back loged in repairs so even a batery change is going to take weeks, I have seen drivers sit a yards for weeks waiting to hagve the truck repaired I know PAM is trying to nfix this, but its going to take more shifts and man hours to keep us running and a crew at each shop to fix the small things when we roll in I have been patient and I hopes its going to pay off this month

Well yeah, Kevin that is what happened.

Lost a week in Irving just to get a new compressor installed.

Still asking around if it is even feasable to turn off the auto shut down.

If this truck would just idle (I'd even cruise control fast idle if required) instead of fast idle/shutdown/startup/fast idle (rinse and repeat) I'd sleep a WHOLE lot better.

If they would fix the things I want fixed and either kill auto shutdown or put an APU on it I'd drive this truck until the wheels fall off.

After Laredo my dispatcher wants to send me to Little Rock for Hazmat training. I'll see what that shop will fix.

dont go to Toon Town thats where they could not replace the battries so i had to switch trucks and they are out of trucks, Your not going to get an APU on an old truck, #### those are a long wait on trucks that have them, what truck do you have ? the 9400 are easy to keep running but the frieghliners I am still working on, get used to this #### its the norm at PAM and most fedex run are night run out and back sleep at day and be home on weekends

I gotta do TT for hood replacemant so the headlights would actually make night driving a bit less dangerous....

I'll beat on the safety dept. about my sleeping.

Dude I work for PAM and if your bring home this amount then you must be getting .15 cpm or maybe a team driver. When I do 2200 mile I bring home [take home] 495.00 and that is after my family insurance, taxes and their BS 5% deduction. So I truly doubt your telling us the whole fact!! And I became 1st seat on Jan. so your story doesn't add up. :biggrin_25510:

I can tell you how to keep your truck running ALL night long either if it's a International or Frieghtliner. Let me know which one you have and I can give you the 411 on it!! I never stay hot or cold, I am always comfortable when I am sleeping in my rig!
