As someone who was also almost killed on the job, I can answer, or at least respond to, most of the things you listed.
1. There is no such thing as "denial of medical treatment." Employers are not required to let you have time off for medical treatment. I know it sucks, I'm not saying I agree with this, but it's true.
2. You have a legal right to use your own doctor. They can't "manipulate medical opinions."
3. This is a workers comp claim. You should have filed a workers comp injury claim. Workers comp pays your medical bills, not your company.
4. "Suppression of evidence" is only something that happens in a courtroom. You don't need to prove liability or damages with workers comp. Fault doesn't matter either. The only question is "was I injured at work? If the answer is yes, your claim will go forward.
5. I have no idea what you mean by this. Discrediting them to who? For what? Again, this should be workers comp. If you are injured at work, you don't deal with your company directly.
6. The company is not liable for your work related injuries. They didn't injure you, you got injured AT WORK. Again, FILE A WORKERS COMP CLAIM.
I think you're having so many issues because you're going about this the wrong way. Basically, you're going after the wrong people. Your company is not liable for you getting hurt at work. That's why the gov't requires them to pay for workers comp insurance. That way when you get hurt, the workers comp people take over the claims process. NOT THE COMPANY YOU WORKED FOR.
I know you mentioned you have a workers comp attorney, but they must not be a very good one because you repeatedly mention that your COMPANY is standing in the way of your treatment. They can't do that. A good attorney would tell you NOT to contact your company, but only workers comp. Period.
What your case is worth will depend on your circumstances but basically it has to do with loss of income and future loss of income. That's something only your attorney can discuss with you.Last edited: Nov 28, 2024

I love all of the "I was set of for failure" retarded posts. Do you really think companies sit around with the hiring folks at the local watering hole and all say, hey, hiring new people is expensive and annoying, let's just bring on board some numb nuts and #### with them for awhile and we can all laugh and have a good time spending all that money and fail them? Good times. Money well spent. The CEO loves crap like that.

All bets are off. Page 6 but the op has not been here since page 2. Maybe he or she got the message.

Go find an employment lawyer, sue them and move on. People want to blame everyone but them selves for situations they get into. A good long hard look in the mirror will show who the problem is.Last edited: Nov 29, 2024
Gearjammin' Penguin and Lonesome Thank this. -
Do lawyers get supervised by our government to make sure they do a fair job, of course not. We the people need to pressure mayors. To make sure they fight and help set laws against internal corruption. And if they don't listen, then tarnish their names as they should be considered dishonorably discharged when they leave office. And vote them out. Attending and pressuring new candidates to commit to at least being pro active on fighting internal corruption. It's the least we can do. They work for us. The problem is that we need to supervise them better.Last edited: Nov 29, 2024
