My husband's experience with CR England school at Salt lake City

Cant tell you how many times Ive heard this story about one of the large carriers. It is best to find a good school near home and take a student loan. At least then you're cdl is yours nobody can dispute certification. Plus you can have a little more insight as to where you work.

 

What more than a CRE diploma ?

That's got to be a team rate! At least I hope it is. Even ifso I wouldn't touch it!
Why do people keep signing on with companies like this? All it takes is a little research here or other sites, Heck just sit at a truck stop and ASK!

 

they wont give him his diploma until he pays in full that was my expirience

It's the team training rate ... what this poor wife has yet to understand is the definition of training - by CREs standards. ... First he has school, 2 1/2 weeks. Then Phase 1, where he his now, about 1 month at $430 a day. The Phase 2, where he gets his $.12 a mile as a second seat with a new lease operator - Phase 2 will last up to 60 days ... after that training is completed and he will get his 1 week home ... He can shorten Phase 2 to about 2 days though, all he has to do his agree to lease.

 

Trying to sucker newbies into leasing before they even know if they like the job or not I take it. I am sure that often times has disasterous results for the unsuspecting newbie.

 

i got mine when class was out.

not that it's been needed. and it's probably been recycled by now.
