A late update. If you remember I used a credit card to pay my insurance in full upfront to save a little over $2000. The card was paid down to zero balance by July 01.
My Insurance Renewal, interest free remedy to paying up front.

Just wanted to say congratulations. Yes anytime you can save money with discipline go for it. Did you say that you purchase your fuel with a credit card? If so, you are not getting any of the good discounts in fuel that is available
bigguns, Rideandrepair and PE_T Thank this. -
bigguns, clausland, TallJoe and 1 other person Thank this.

Kudos on the 12 months no interest. Smart way to do it if you make it work.
Did you use a cash back card? -
A lot has changed. I saved $2200. I paid off the insurance premium in just a few months rather using their payment plan. Yes I can pay in full this year.Cabinover101 Thanks this. -
As an added bonus I don't have to deal with all the idiots at the chain t/s. I also don't waste time in line at the big chain t/s. It is a win/win as far as I am concerned for buying fuel.Cabinover101 Thanks this. -

I have talked to a bunch of those people. Nobody can get me fuel cheaper than what I am paying. As a matter of fact I have one more to check out on my phone right now.
Cabinover101 Thanks this.
