My International ProStar dash reads GEN TRANS FILT...help

    My automatic truck will not go into gear this morning. Dash reads gen Trans filter. Anyway to reset this until I can get to a shop?

    That stands for, "General transmission fault." It's the same as a check engine light. You can try to disconnect the batteries for 5 mins and reconnect to see if it clears itself. If not, you will need to get it scanned to see why, then probably a hook.
