Truck doing ok?

 

My LS plans are on hold. Mrs.48 has decided she no longer wishes to be Mrs.48. So, though it may be reasonably free of acrimony, getting through it is job one. Fortunately I’m still doing ok here in Pumpkinville, so it’s a matter of packing up and storing my crap, establishing a new address (my daughter and her family live here in SC, so I’ll be using theirs for a while), and preparing to go on.
Still hope to make the move by January of 2022.

 

On the positive side. You won't have mortgage or rent to deal with.

This is true! I’ll also have time to see my kids and their kids more often. Sadly, I’m losing four grandkids on her side that I’ve grown to love very much.

Sorry to hear this. Sucks but brighter days might be ahead. Seeing your kids more is a great positive on the list.

and I don’t know the situation but if her kids are ok with you seeing their kids and the kids like you, maybe it won’t matter the formal relationship to still go visit.
