    I loaded down in Charleston yesterday going to Indiana, swung through the house for a reset. I will roll out in the morning, deliver Monday, and reload in Illinois coming back down to North Carolina for a Wednesday delivery. The load out of Illinois is a hazmat load paying $3.49 to the truck.

    I plan on taking 4 or 5 days off for the holiday, and then hitting it hard until Christmas.

    This is my 5th week at Landstar... Monday to Monday I'll have grossed just over $9500, so almost $6400 to the truck, on 2100 all miles. 4 loads, OH-VA, VA-KY, KY-OH, IN-NC.
    The other 4 weeks, I only worked 3, and was home every weekend and grossed a little over $6K/wk or $4K to the truck.

    Actually I bought from a guy leaving Landstar a little over 5 years ago.... He was asking $8500 and I bought it sight unseen. Would have probably paid double that if he would asked for it. 2006 Freightshaker.
