I've been looking at the intake and exhaust manifold just don't know if Pittsburg power or PDI is better. I do know PDI is more expensive.

Got the scheduled work done at Pittsburgh power, but during the overhead they found a cam lobe with excessive wear along with a rocker. Last year when they ran the overhead they noticed the wear, but it was within Cummins specs, it’s gotten worse, so now in the next few months I need to address this issue. So far the estimates are ranging between 7k and 9K, plan on getting one more estimate, and then making the decision.

Running fine, pulled a light load from over near Cleveland down to Virginia, averaged 10.1mpg.

Can you tell a difference with new intake manifold and are you planning on getting the exhaust manifold also?

    JoeyJunk and runningman0661 Thank this.

I would say my fuel mileage definitely increased, with it already having the tune, I didn’t really notice any noticeable increase in horsepower. As far as the exhaust manifold, it will have to wait until I get the cam and rockers taken care of.

I must've missed it along the way or just don't remember, what tune did you have put in the truck?

    JoeyJunk Thanks this.
