rjgcape, to give you a ball park, I drive a 2012 Volvo 630 that I bought brand new at Dart two years ago. My daily expenses
are just under $94/day which includes my insurance. Dart pays for your base plate and permits at no cost to you. My truck
has the 12 speed automatic and I love it. I'm through Chicago weekly with my dedicated account. Hope that helps!

2wildT thank you over the 2 years have you been overall sstisfied with settlement? Do you have a big balloon at end of term? And how long is term can it be a walk away? I have been so cautious because I dont want to mess with my credit . Thanks again from everything I have seen new volvo about 750 week with insurances and escrow etc? I like to be out about 6 weeks or so. Think thats reasonable? Thanks

Yes happy with my settlements. It's easy with Dart to figure what you're going to get when you settle once you learn their system. Plus, you decide when you're going to settle and get paid at Dart. Yes on the balloon payment, mine is 16k at the end which can be paid back over a year. But remember, I bought my truck with zero down. Dart pays your first payment for you, then you pay it back to them over a six month period. Escrow here at Dart is $700 which you pay a little on each settlement until it's paid. I stay out 3-4 weeks at a time on the national dedicated program (my choice). With Dart you can stay out and run as long as you want. I know folks who stay out for a couple of months at a time then head home for a week or so. I took 4 days off on Thanksgiving and Christmas week off. Wife loves it. Ask all the questions you like, myself and others are happy to answer you and make sure Dart will work for you. I don't like any surprises when I go to a company and I do my best to make sure folks who talk to me don't get any either........just good business to me. Hope this helps! Wait missed one of your questions, on the walk away, do you mean take the truck with you? As far as I'm aware, that's a matter of a down deposit to them for that. I believe I heard 10% of the value left on the truck. I'd have to make a call and verify that for you, I don't keep my lease agreement on the truck. My lease and insurance together per week work out to $661.75 the first 2 years, then $636.75 the 2nd 2 years, then $611.75 the last two years. Then the balloon for one year. Good luck and ask away if you have more questions.

The lease is technically a walk away lease. I have talked to a few drivers who left and all they had to do was trun the truck in. If there was something wrong with the truck when they turned it in, the cost was taken out of their maintenance account and then what was left was given back to them. You can also buy the truck at any time you just have to call leasing and ask what your current payoff is.

This thing I really like about this lease is that your costs are calculated by the day not the week so if you need to settle early one week you don't have to pay for the full week just the days up to that day. So lets say you last settled on Tuesday the previous week then decided to settle on Monday the current week you would only pay for the days between Tuesday-Monday. I hope that makes sense. This also helps a ton with hometime as you don't have to take a hit right away after hometime...you can run a few loads to cover the cost of the days you took off. (or use money out of your reserve account) You aren't charged for anything until you decide to settle and in turn you decide when to get paid. I think this helps alot of drivers be successful in a lease purchase even if they failed in others.

My cost per day or week is pretty close to what 2wild posted. If you look at page one I posted a breakdown of my costs. Your costs will slowly go down over time as you will eventually pay off the escrow and downpayment. (if you have one) When I got my truck there was no down payment.

So far I have really enjoyed working with Dart. I'll post my recent settlements soon but this will be the second week where I will have over 3k miles. We have alot of drop/hook loads and my dispatcher will always try to plan atleast one load ahead and if the weekend is coming up she will pre-plan me the full weekend up til Monday or Tuesday.

Any questions don't hesitate to ask.

Dart prefers you settle at approximately the same time, they recommend every 6-8 days, doing that most of my settlements are in the
$1200-1500 range after all bills are paid. Again, you can settle anytime you like at Dart.....after each load, weekly, monthly......
whatever works for you. I like to send a minimum of $1200 to the house at a time. That keeps the wife unit happy with wally world
    money.
