Yeah, OR I could go work for a carrier that issues nicer equipment, AND one that takes care of payroll, tax issue

Cjr, you had to wait for a load, ok, you still got paid very nicely for the load you just delivered.

Yes very true and the load going back pays about the same. The thing that I hate is sittling. And not being productive. I will say ki am very happy despite all the small shortcomings. I think that I will be very happy here with pgt for a long time. I do see all the other companies with there somewhat nice trucks and get to thinking, but read the reviews and youwyouwIll see. I alwo trust that once they see I am a safe and productive driver I will get a nice truck. Pgt has done nothing but look out for me and take care to ensure my safety and the safety of others. Also even though the truck is old and has nearly 700k on it it runs great and has been bery well maintained. -
What is the difference if you pay state taxes or if the company does?

and its only state taxes thats not taken out. all the fed stuff is done. i live in WV now and state tax is taken out of my check. just depends on the state you live in and how that state works when your employed in another state
