I'm lost too. I thought I had a good setup too. Boy was I wrong! Maybe someone learned something besides Firestik antennas crap. -
OP, was glad to send this to another driver getting into a 680 soon. Thx
J Rich Thanks this. -
The 5-foot fire stick is halfway decent but the 7-foot skip shooter is a lot more efficient on that truck and kind of hard to beat for $31.
J Rich, Slowmover1 and Tensleep440 Thank this. -
Agree about 7’ Skipshooter. Have two of them.
The HD mount for T680/880 arm is shown in antenna mount section of Top Gun products page.
Bobs CB should have it.rabbiporkchop Thanks this. -
7' is pushing it for that truck , height wise. My 880 sits a couple inches higher than the 680. I almost bought a 6' Skip Shooter today that CB shop wants $50 and may need to a Hustler HD spring that's another $20 or $30.
I'll keep that web site in mind. Those are great prices as long as shipping isn't $20. -
Have you measured from the ground up to the mounting location?
It's 81 inches on the 680. I haven't measured the 880. -
No, but I'll try to tomorrow.rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

My 880 is 82" to the top of the antenna mount . So, add that to a 7' antenna and equals 166" for 13' 10" total height. May do the 6' Skip Shooter with the Hustler HD antenna spring. That would be 158" total height of 13' 2"rabbiporkchop Thanks this.

An 80" antenna would be perfect.
That's 6.6 feet.J Rich Thanks this.
