    Get a good end on the hose and it will hold itself. A simple 1.99 fix.

    I have a big collection of grease guns from a air powered grease pump on a drum with a 100 ft hose on a hose reel, lever action ,pistol grip etc. I never had much luck with the electric ones , they never seemed to shoot the whole tube of grease and would lose they're prime. That was until recently when I picked up a Dewalt cordless grease
    Gun. It works great,it never loses prime ,shoots the whole tube of grease ,it has a variable pressure trigger to shoot a lot or a little and the 20 volt battery holds a charge pretty long. It comes with a 36" hose and a good connector that locks on to the grease fitting nice and tight. It wasn't cheap at $250 but worth it. I think tractor supply has them on sale right now for $219.

    Can you post the model number? I never liked them for the same reasons you listed but if dewalt makes a good one ill have to check it out. I get a huge discount on all dewalt products.

    That's the one I got and I love it. I like that it has a long hose so I can just set it under the axle and get 90 percent of the zirks on that side without having to move the unit. I got mine from amazon

    I got my quarterly done and the numbers are in. So did I make more as a lease driver or as a company driver? That is the question I will answer now. Since I have worked for this company since Feb. last year I am able to give an apples to apples comparison between the company driver and lease driver. Now here is the way things worked out. This quarterly includes the months of March - June. Due to starting late in the first quarter my CPA recommended waiting to file til now. These numbers are a comparison for the above months from last year as a company driver and this year as a lease driver for the same company.

    Lease Driver Numbers:

    Gross = $68,086
    Expenses = $45,057
    Taxes = $6,225
    Net = $16,804

    Company Driver

    Net = $10,159

    So that means I made $6,645 more as a lease driver so far. At this point I haven't formed an opinion on rather or not going lease with my company is worth it. I want to give it the rest of the year to see the actual numbers before forming an opinion. If I wait that long it will give me a good look at the whole picture with factual numbers. After running the numbers for the taxes I have adjusted my percentage of withholding from 12% to 22%. Doing this will keep me closer to the number my CPA estimated for taxes.
