my leg hurts i need my cruise

    93 379 60 series 15 speed check engine light comes on at 40 i lose cruise and 2 rpms on top end truck runs fine good mpg cruise works for high idle if i restart to trun of check engine light only code showing is vechile speed sensor please my leg is killing me:biggrin_25523:

    Check the wiring for the speed sensor at the output shaft of the trans check to make sure there is not excessive play in the output shaft.there may be two sensors one for speedo and one for ecm or can be one sensor with two outputs seen them both you can try to clean them pull it out and check the tip of the sensor but I've never had real good luck with that usually its the sensor on its way out there not to pricey.if it has two diffrent sensors you can swap the plugs and see if that fixes your problem.let us know how it goes
